Jil Sander Spring Summer 2014 | Milan Fashion Week
By Men's Journal Online | 23 June 2013

Jil Sander is known for her hyper-minimalist aesthetic so when she decided on a new silhouette, one with voluminous proportions, it was quite jarring to the sense. But after we got accustomed to this new look, we quite liked the crisp whites she chose while the soupy shorts ended up feeling quite fresh and new. The monochromatic palette was electrified by strong jolts of oranges and reds from an orange and white short suit to a burnt orange overcoat, it was just the right amount bashed Raf Simons' vision for her house during his eight year stint but to us, it seems the two have more in common when it comes to the identity of thee Jil Snder label than Sander would like to admit.
