Dior Homme Spring Summer 2014 | Paris Fashion Week
By Men's Journal Online | 30 June 2013

Dior Homme's designer Kris Van Assche presented his creation as part of Dior men's fashion Spring-Summer 2014 collection on Saturday, June 29 in Paris. He created a minimal and monochromatic collection that was both light and airy and strict in its tailoring.

"I really started this season with a lot of contrasts and contradictions," said Van Assche, who was inspired by the wacky mix of suits and sand at Art Basel in Miami.

One of the major part of this collection was a sheeny, upper class Oxford shoes, subverted by a great metal suspension spring. Overall, Van Assche's collection was all about contrast and contradictions from the color blocking to short suits.
