Elle Fanning graces the first cover of Miss Vogue Australia. The spinoff magazine – aimed at teens – has an app which launched on August 30. The issue hits newsstands on September 2. In the interview the 15-year-old says she and big sister Dakota always pretended to act around the house.

She explained, “I guess my mum saw us playing around the house and creating these really in-depth characters. My sister was older so she would always be the mum and I would be her kid. We would pretend we were homeless people and move around the house as though we were looking for shelter – we would always end up in the pantry. My parents would be like, ‘What are they doing in the pantry?’ and we’d be shivering, completely in character.”
