Michael Kors Launch Watch Hunger Stop Campaign
By SENATUS News | 10 October 2013

Lily Aldridge and Chanel Iman lend their support to Michael Kors's Watch Hunger Stop initiative. As part of his ongoing philanthropic mission to end world hunger, Michael Kors is launching a multipronged campaign this month that is pegged to World Food Day on Oct. 16. Among the initiatives, Kors teams will give away “Watch Hunger Stop” T-shirts outside his New York, Berlin, Rio de Janeiro, Tokyo and Hong Kong stores on that day.

Those who receive one can go inside and have their picture taken in a photo booth wearing the T, which will be live-streamed on billboards in New York’s Times Square and on Kors’ microsite watchhungerstop.com.

“The response to Watch Hunger Stop has been amazing,” Kors said. “We delivered one-and-a-half million meals to children in less than six months, and we’ve only just begun. Our hope for World Food Day is to get people talking about hunger, and about the many ways they can help address the problem. Donate, volunteer, talk, text, tweet — really, everyone can be an ambassador.”
