According to a video teaser put out by promoters in the UAE, which shows a flyer unfurling to reveal a silhouette similar to the 32-year-old pop star, followed by the letters “#JTUAE”, all signs strongly indicate an upcoming official announcement of Justin Timberlake performing in the Emirates.

The video ends with an inscription of the date “09.01.2014” which could mean the reveal could take place on 9 January or the concert on 1 September 2014.

Timberlake performed in Abu Dhabi in 2007 at Emirates Palace. He is currently on a break from his 20/20 Experience World Tour, which will resume on January 14. He is set to play across the US, Canada and Europe.

It is possible that a UAE show could materialise in March as he has no performances slotted in between 6 March and 30 March.
