All-New British Company David Brown Automotive to Debut 'Project Judi' in Monao
By SENATUS Motoring | 12 February 2014

An all-new British company, unveiled in January 2014, is set to debut its first model dubbed “Project Judi" at the Top Marques Show in Monaco on 17 April 17. Recruiting Land Rover’s former head of design, Alan Mobberley, as well as a host of automotive craftsmen and bespoke suppliers, David Brown Automotive targets providing an alternative to current British sports car labels.

As founder David Brown explained: “I wanted all the impact and style of a classic sports car, but with modern capabilities and conveniences. This is what I want in a car, but it’s not something anyone really offers. So, I’ve created it myself.”

However, the company isn’t starting completely from scratch. It is using a proven platform for its first car — the Jaguar XKR no less — and adding to and improving it. The company has released a selection of teaser images to keep the anticipation growing.
