Greenpeace ‘Save the Arctic’ Campaign
By Men's Journal Online | 12 February 2014

Greenpeace’s latest campaign championing the Arctic and its preservation was launched at Vivienne Westwood’s Gold Label spring/summer 2014 show with her Save the Arctic logo. Westwood collaborated with celebrity photographer Andy Gotts MBE for portraits featuring actor George Clooney, Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, Terry Jones and Terry Gilliam of Monty Python plus more. Discussing her choice to work with Gotts, Westwood shared, “Andy is popular with celebrities because he makes it all a pleasant experience.” She added, “Celebrities are often the key to getting a message across. Public opinion is very responsive to celebrity.”
