Banana Republic Launches Capsule Collection with Roland Mouret
By SENATUS News | 7 August 2014

Banana Republic debuts the Roland Mouret for Banana Republic line, which uses the brand’s signature Sloan fabric to design pieces that flatter the feminine form. Widely regarded for his mastery of structure and draping, Mouret has infused his signature look into the limited capsule collection for the American label.

Mouret made his name in fashion with his Galaxy dress, a knee-length, body-skimming cocktail number he showed for spring 2006 that became a fashion phenomenon. He also created the Moon dress, which featured origami-like folds on the neckline that became a Victoria Beckham favorite.
