The Louis Vuitton womenswear fashion show, Ghesquière’s second for the brand, served as a glamorous debut for the new Foundation Louis Vuitton, a museum of contemporary art which will house LVMH chairman Bernard Arnault’s collection of modern art, designed by architect Frank Gehry. Inside, Ghesquière's presentation featured digital screens from which 10-foot-high faces of young men and women spoke, “A beginning is a very delicate time,” referring both to the museum and the designer's helm.
The Spring/Summer 2015 presentation opened with great classic '60s white lace, high neck mini dresses and looks that had black ribbons round the neck. The theme continues on several velvet looks, and featured also the Balkan, ethnic look in zigzag detailing, Grecian embroidery and thick lacing down the torso.
