Bulgari Hotel to Open in Beijing
By SENATUS Travel | 23 October 2014

Bulgari Hotels have revealed that it is opening a new luxury hotel in Beijing’s upmarket Embassy District and overlooking the Liangma River come 2017. The 120 rooms and suites of the hotel will be flanked by two office buildings and a contemporary art gallery. The space will be designed by Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel and Partners and will sit with the rest of the brand’s ‘contemporary Italian’ aesthetic for its hotel portfolio.

"The combination of the natural landscape with the artistic content will make this development a new benchmark for enlightened luxury living in the future," explained Bulgari CEO Jean-Christophe Babin.

The new Beijing hotel will join the brand’s existing locations in Milan, Bali, Tokyo and London. Ahead of the Beijing launch, another Chinese outpost is set to launch in 2016 in Shanghai, with a further hotel opening in Dubai in 2018.

The Italian luxury label recently unveiled in Beijing actress Shu Qi as its new brand ambassador for its LVCEA timepieces campaign, targeted towards the Chinese market.
