Valentino’s Sala Bianca 945 Celebration in New York City
By SENATUS News | 12 December 2014

Valentino celebrated the opening of its Fifth Avenue flagship store in the Marcel Breuer space that formerly housed the Whitney Museum at 945 Madison Avenue. The evening, named Sala Bianca 945 featured an Haute Couture fashion show designed by Valentino’s Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli.

The duo's special, one-off haute couture showcase featured deceptively simple, neo-retro silhouettes in cashmere to high-necked tulle blouses and micro-leather floral embroidered organza gowns. The collection was white throughout, in an homage to Valentino Garavani’s iconic 1968 white collection.
