Cartier Rêves de Panthères
By SENATUS Watches & Jewelry | 11 January 2015

Cartier Rêves de Panthères watch is an outstanding, diamond-paved watch that utilizes a special in-house Day & Night movement. The dial of the Cartier Rêves de Panthères watch turns into a 24-hour cycle, with the rotating disk depicting a sky that transforms from starry night to bright shining canopy, thus indicating if the Sun is currently above or below the horizon.

The name of the new Cartier watch, Rêves de Panthères, means Dream of the Panthers, and the famous watch and jewelry brand announces it as the time-telling jeweler's dream. The panther is one of the most emblematic motifs for the house of Cartier, and it was first introduced back in 1914, on a Cartier wristwatch that was embellished with a panther-spot motif. Louis Cartier dedicated his first pieces of Panthère jewelry to Jeanne Toussaint, nicknamed The Panther, who was later pronounced Cartier’s Creative Director of High Jewelry.
