The NEW Gucci Bamboo Fragrance
By SENATUS Beauty & Fragrances | 11 June 2015

Gucci is set to officially launch its newest perfume, Gucci Bamboo, expanding on the key offering from one of its signature icons -- the Bamboo. The Gucci Bamboo bag was first created in 1947 as a result of the war-time rationing of materials. Imported from Japan, Gucci craftsmen heated and bent the bamboo into the curved handle that is now instantly recognisable.

The composition is floral - woody. It opens with citrusy accords of bergamot leading to the exotic floral heart of ylang-ylang, Casablanca lily and orange blossom. Intense notes of sandalwood, Tahitian vanilla and amber form the base.

The bottle design blends delicate sensibility with strong lines. A glass art deco bottle in the shape of a diamond contrasts with the pink inside. A polished silver cap tops off with the signature Bamboo icon.

The fragrance comes in 50 and 75 ml Eau de Parfum, body lotion, shower gel and deodorant.
