Just as the Resort 2016 collection hits the stores, Gucci has announced that the presentation of its next mid-season collection will take place in London, this after creative director Alessandro Michele presented the current pieces in New York City.

For the luxury brands, the cruise/resort collections have become a more significant part of the revenue stream, and also works as a perfect excuse to take the runway show on the road, away from the semi-annual showcases in Paris or Milan. CHANEL is set for Havana, Cuba whilst Louis Vuitton is bound for Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
