Novak Djokovic has won the 2016 French Open beating Andy Murray in four sets and becomes the third man after Don Budge and Rod Laver to hold the four majors at the same time, and the eighth man to triumph at Wimbledon and the French, US and Australian Opens.

Djokovic, who is now on a 28-match winning streak in majors, moved level alongside Roy Emerson with his 12th Grand Slam crown and is now just two behind Pete Sampras and Rafa Nadal and five behind Swiss great Roger Federer.

"Well, I don’t want to sound arrogant, but I really think everything is achievable in life," Djokovic said when asked about the Grand Slam after his breakthrough French Open triumph.

Djokovic has garnered an impressive 44-3 record in 2016 so far, winning six of the nine tournaments he has contested, including Qatar, Australian Open, Indian Wells, Miami, Madrid and the French Open.

The Serbian professional tennis player who is currently ranked world No.1 in men's singles tennis by the Association of Tennis Professionals, will look to obtain a Golden Slam if he wins the Gold meal, as he heads into this year's Olympic Games held in Rio de Janeiro.
