By SENATUS Magazine | 17 September 2021

Located within Dusit Thani Laguna Singapore, a five-star luxury urban resort in Singapore with direct access to two championship golf courses, Greenhouse showcases a variety of authentic dining experiences with its exciting line-up of cuisines. An all-day dining multi-ethnic restaurant anchored by five show kitchens, Greenhouse boasts an array of food cultures that are set to please the tastebuds of discerning diners.

Indulge in a delectable range of offerings at Greenhouse’s five show kitchen concepts — the brand’s signature Thai cuisine, Yue cuisine, Punjabi Tandoor cuisine, Mediterranean cuisine as well as Nikkei cuisine, each calling upon the culinary expertise of chefs hailing from these regions.

As an extension of the resort’s hospitality experience that is rooted in Thai culture and tradition, the Thai show kitchen features authentic dishes from Northern and Southern Thailand. Look forward to a generous spread which encompasses the appetising Pla Kapong Nueng ($28++), of steamed barramundi fillet topped with spicy green chilli, garlic and lime sauce; Phad Thai Goong, Gai or Phak ($25++), one of Thailand’s national dishes; and the quintessential Tom Yum Goong ($24++), a spicy broth complemented with river prawns and aromatic spices.

Inspired by Guangdong province, Yue cuisine features a mouth-watering selection of Cantonese favourites such as house-roasted meats, wok-fried noodles and comforting soups. Notable highlights include the Anxin Chicken ($29++) enhanced by jasmine tea and herbal sauce; the fork-tender Kurobuta Pork ($30++), braised with Chinese rice wine vinegar and plum sauce; and the mildly sweet and spicy Wok-Fried ‘Kung Pao’ Tiger Prawns ($48++).

For diners craving for traditional Punjabi Tandoor cuisine, the Northern Indian skewers Murgh Malai Kebab ($34++) and Seekh Kebab ($38++), smoked to perfection in a traditional clay oven, are not to be missed. Pair the spice-marinated kebabs with the freshly-baked naans, served with house chutneys, as well as Paneer Tikka ($32++) cooked in authentic clay Tandoor ovens.

Mediterranean fare at Greenhouse promises a selection of thin-crusted, applewood-fired sourdough pizzas such as the Porcini Mushroom with Truffle and Fontina ($26++) and the classic Prosciutto Ham and Rucola ($28++). A dish that embodies the flavours of Sicily, the Casarecce Pesto ‘Siciliano’ Pasta with Ricotta and Cherry Tomatoes ($25++) also makes for a tasty main course.

Melding the confluence of contemporary Western ingredients and traditional Japanese culinary art, the Nikkei kitchen spotlights a selection of sashimi, maki and nigiri sushi (from $18++) for lunch as well as tantalising items from the Robatayaki grill. Some of the signature dishes that are sure to elevate the dining experience include the Sanchoku Wagyu Beef MS 6/7 ($38++) and the Hokkaido Scallops ($29++), cooked to perfection over binchotan.

For the sweet-toothed, a serving of Khao Niao Mamuang, familiarly known as Thai Mango Sticky Rice ($12++) or Ma Prao Orn – Young Coconut with Chendol Ice Cream ($12++) is sure to satisfy.
