Burberry Launches new Constellations Capsule Collection
By SENATUS Magazine | 4 April 2022

Burberry has launched a new Constellations capsule collection in celebration of the harmony and rhythm of life.

The collection, designed by Chief Creative Officer Riccardo Tisci, captures the changing mood of the skies, from sunset to sunrise. The palette is a meld of contrasting yet complementary shades: soothing vanilla beige provides a hazy daylight hue; dark maroon evokes the setting sun; and an ombré effect spanning navy to soft cornflower blue represents the transition to evening.

The campaign mirrors the inspiration behind the collection and was shot by photographer Mous Lamrabat. The Wadi Naqab ravine in the United Arab Emirates provides the dramatic backdrop for the models Yelibe Tilahun and Ansar Elyagoubi , as the visuals celebrate the essence of the outdoors.

The exclusive seasonal collection, across womenswear, accessories and childrenswear, is punctuated by a constellation of prints. Silk scarves showcase astronomically inspired patterns, with motifs reinterpreted on tie neck blouses and pleated silk skirts. Concentric rings adorn signature shapes and new iterations of the Lola, Olympia and TB bags, as well as flowing silk capes and sinuous l ong line dresses. The Monogram motif collection of jewellery features a galaxy of crystal embellishments.

A collection that transitions from understated, relaxed pieces to captivating designs, perfect for special occasions.
