Burberry was recognised by the 2022 Prix Versailles Official World Awards in the Shops & Stores category for our Imagined Landscapes pop-up store in Jeju, South Korea.
The structure was sculpted by architectural contour lines inspired by maps, rising from the landscape as an ephemeral brand space. Our first immersive brand experience in Jeju was connected to a series of inspirational pop-ups around the world, blurring the lines between nature and technology, the indoors and outdoors, the real and the imagined.
The awards ceremony took place at the UNESCO Headquarters celebrating the best in contemporary architecture, highlighting innovation and creativity as well as ecological efficiency and cultural impact.
