A Look inside 'Dior: Designer of Dreams' exhibition in Tokyo #DiorDesignerofDreams
By SENATUS Editor | 23 December 2022

The 'Dior: Designer of Dreams' exhibition continues its global tour, stopping at the Museum of Contemporary Art of Tokyo from now until May 28, 2023 with unprecedented archive documents.

In the first room of black and white contrasts, Christian Dior's revolutionary New Look is on full display to commence the journey through the House's past to contemporary creations.

Another room offers an immersive glimpse into the privileged bond between Christian Dior and Japan.

Displaying works from past Artistic Directors and Maria Grazia Chiuri along with pieces from the collaborations between Dior and the Daimaru or Kanebo houses, exclusive creations with emblematic cherry blossoms and a piece by John Galliano depicting Hokusai's 'The Great Wave off Kanagawa' highlights how these beautiful influences resulted in breathtaking works that have never been exhibited before.
