Fendi Fall-Winter 2023 - exploring classicism and elegance
By SENATUS Editor | 24 February 2023

For its showcase in Milan, Fendi unveiled its Women Fall-Winter 2023 collection designed by Artistic Director Kim Jones.

For this collection, the Maison explores classicism and elegance, through the lens of subtle subversion. Drawing upon the wardrobe of Delfina Delettrez Fendi, the collection plays with binaries and gender archetypes in a deconstruction of lady like sophistication.

Masculine tailoring and traditional fabrics are twisted into feminine forms, while elements of utilitarianism appear throughout: boilersuits, aprons, uniforms. Lace is lacquered and layered; flashes of fetishism appear through slips of lingerie peeking through, or thigh-high lace-up boots.
