Rolex presents new variant of its iconic Oyster Perpetual Cosmograph Daytona in celebration of 100th anniversary of 24 Hours of Le Mans
By SENATUS Editor | 11 June 2023

In celebration of the 100th anniversary of the 24 Hours of Le Mans race, Rolex presents a new variant of its iconic Oyster Perpetual Cosmograph Daytona, with a design and movement that pays homage to this legendary race.

The new Rolex Cosmograph Daytona features a Cerachrom bezel in black ceramic. The recessed graduations, numerals and inscriptions on the tachymetric scale are moulded then coated with a thin layer of platinum via a PVD (Physical Vapour Deposition) process – apart from the number 100, which is filled with red ceramic.

The Oyster case is fitted with a transparent back and an Oyster bracelet. This original timepiece is equipped with an exclusive patented movement, calibre 4132, which allows the hours of the chronograph function to be counted over 24 hours – another nod to the race – rather than the model’s usual 12.
