Loro Piana announced that the winners of the 8th edition of the Knit Design Award. Year after year, the Maison promotes young designers and the transmission of their knitwear expertise and savoir-faire. This year, students Pierre Sauvageot and Björn Backes from Duperré won the competition, taking home the trophy, a scholarship and a job contract.
The winning project is titled "Cavalieri, A History of Innovation" - which managed to push the boundaries of knitwear in a structured and innovative way through skillful execution, showcasing craftsmanship and innovation.
