By SENATUS Editor | 6 July 2024

Professional women's tennis is set to return to Singapore with the WTA 250 tournament, to be staged in 2025 at the new Kallang Tennis Hub.

The purpose-built Kallang Tennis Hub will host the event on indoor hard courts during the week of January 27 next year

The tournament replaces the Thailand Open that has traditionally been held in Hua Hin.

The inaugural Singapore edition will feature a 32-player singles draw and 16-team doubles draw. It follows the end of the Australian Open grand slam.
