The futuristic armor of the Slim d'Hermès Neo Brandebourgs

Hermès invites the modern woman to step into a reimagined history where the discipline of a nineteenth-century military uniform meets the vibrant pulse of the future.

This exquisite timepiece represents a dramatic departure from the collection’s signature minimalism, instead embracing a narrative of "the armor of tomorrow's horseman" through the visionary lens of Japanese designer Daiske Nomura. Within a slender 39.5 mm platinum case, a hand-painted and engraved dial tells a story first inspired by an archival book of ceremonial costumes belonging to the Émile Hermès collection.

The artistry required to bring this miniature masterpiece to life is nothing short of breathtaking as it unites the delicate touch of the painter’s brush with the precise stroke of the engraver’s burin. Vivid shades of blue and green trace the contours of the garment, which was originally envisioned as a silk scarf by artist Caty Latham in 1972. For the very first time in this line, a tourbillon dances gracefully at the seven o'clock position. It is protected by a cage featuring the storied Lift motif, a poetic homage to the intertwined Hs found in the elevator of the maison’s historic boutique at 24 Faubourg Saint-Honoré in Paris.

Beneath the surface of this vibrant dial beats the ultra-thin Manufacture Hermès H1950T movement, a mechanical marvel that ensures the watch retains its uncompromising slenderness while offering a forty-eight hour power reserve. This numbered limited edition is restricted to just twenty-four pieces, making it a rare companion for those who view time not as something to be controlled, but as an object to be experienced with emotion and spontaneity.

Finished with a luxurious alligator strap crafted in the house's own workshops, the Slim d'Hermès Neo Brandebourgs is a true testament to the house's ability to turn everyday life into a uniquely special moment.
