Best EFFEN® Cocktail of the Night
By SENATUS Editor | 25 April 2012

The launch event marked the first time mixologists from renowned cocktail bars in Singapore who came together and competed in a friendly competition to design the best EFFEN®-inspired cocktail..

Representatives from from Nektar, Barkode, 28 Hong Kong and 7Adam gamely displayed their skills in Pure White and Black Elegance, and guests voted for their favourite concoction.

The night ended on a high with the announcement of the winning cocktail: EFFEN® Lime Pie by Karen Heng from Barkode. “When I think of black cherry, I immediately think cherry pie, but it was a tad too obvious, so I looked to the key lime pie, a favourite dessert of mine. And it turned out to be a lovely combination,” says Karen, whose winning creation was a blend of EFFEN® Black Cherry, homemade vanilla syrup, lemon juice and kaffir lime leaves, garnished with bruleed marshmallows.
