The Louis Vuitton Journeys Awards II have received more than 250 films from 40 countries and amongst the 10 short-listed films and 2 of them came from Singapore.

First launched in 2009, Journeys Awards is an international short-film contest inviting emerging filmmakers to showcase their talent and creativity.

The theme for this year's awards is "Encounter", with the idea of it being part of Journey, the core value of Louis Vuitton. With the films being what a meaningful encounter means to them. How it is experienced. Where it is experienced. How it is felt in the soul. What we live in that moment. And we carry away from it.

The public voting is now opened and the short films can be watched on www.journeysawards.com with the voting your most favourite films starting from now til the September 3rd 2012.
