Usain Bolt, the world's fastest man and champion Olympic sprinter, is targeting another record-breaking performance by offering his passion and performance instincts to the Nissan team developing a special "Bolt" version of the GT-R.

Following his world records at the London Olympics, Bolt on Thursday signed a special deal with Nissan to extend his role as brand ambassador for the 315km/h GT-R and to become honourary "Director of Excitement" for the company's ambitious global marketing drive

The Usain Bolt GT-R is a special one-off gold Nissan GT-R embossed with his signature and featuring interior fittings finished in real gold.

The unique car will be auctioned on eBay later this month to benefit the Usain Bolt Foundation. Proceeds will help the foundation's work creating opportunities for children and young people in the Olympic Champion's home of Jamaica.
