For the Fall Winter 2012 2013 season, Swedish-based retailer H&M has teamed up with renowned French design house Maison Martin Margiela to release a one-of-a-kind mens and women’s capsule collection that embodies the latter’s DNA whilst keeping to the former’s price point strategy.
Working with this design pedigree, H&M’s creative director Margareta van den Bosch was able to play with volume, shape, and unconventional ideas to design a truly high-end collection that will certainly win over buyers. Hand glove handbags, leather shirts, guitar-shaped weekender bags, slim-fit hourglass jackets, and duvet coats are instantly recognizable peerless pieces.
Priced between $39.95 to $399, the collection offers shoppers with a diverse range of opportunities to own a piece of the French fashion house’s most famed wares, with each piece’s inside tag noting the season from which it was inspired from.
The Maison Martin Margiela for H&M collection will hit store shelves this November 15th.
