Beyonce Performs at Obama Inauguration
By SENATUS News | 22 January 2013

Singer Beyonce sang the Star Spangled Banner to hundreds of thousands of people in Washington DC at the inauguration ceremony of President Obama. Beyonce, who will perform at the US Super Bowl next month, was accompanied by her husband Jay-Z at the inauguration.

Officials estimate about 700,000 people attended the inauguration, down significantly from 2009, when about 1.8 million people witnessed Mr Obama be sworn in as America's first black president.
