Asics x A.P.C. serve up a stylish smash with first-ever head-to-toe tennis collaboration

25 April 2025

By Tricia Oliviera

ASICS and French fashion house A.P.C. have teamed up for a landmark collaboration that blends high-performance tenniswear with Parisian flair. Debuting for the European leg of the tennis season, this partnership marks ASICS’ first full head-to-toe collaboration in the sport—spanning on-court apparel, off-court lifestyle pieces, and footwear.

Rooted in mutual values of craftsmanship and quality, the capsule collection features unisex designs in a crisp blue-and-white palette, reflecting A.P.C.’s minimalist, monochromatic style. The aesthetic nods to 1970s preppy influences, elevated by contemporary silhouettes and functional performance detailing—perfectly bridging sport and style.

The on-court collection, comprising 20 pieces, is engineered for both comfort and technical excellence. Signature ASICS performance innovations are seamlessly paired with A.P.C.’s refined design language. Subtle design codes referencing Japanese tradition run throughout: Kasane-inspired layering, the Enso circle symbolizing unity, and a reinterpretation of the ASICS logo inspired by Shibori, a Japanese tie-dye technique. These thoughtful touches enhance key pieces, such as sleek dresses, structured tops, and tailored shorts—providing freedom of movement without compromising on style.

Complementing the apparel are exclusive ASICS x A.P.C. accessories—including tennis caps, wristbands, and socks—as well as special edition tennis shoes that complete the on-court ensemble. The collaboration is brought to life on the professional stage, with ASICS athletes like Alex de Minaur, Belinda Bencic, and Lorenzo Musetti wearing the collection during Europe’s major tournaments.

Off the court, A.P.C. Creative Director Judith Touitou curates a 30-piece lifestyle edit designed for everyday elegance. Infused with the brand’s signature French ease, the off-court pieces embrace effortless movement and casual sophistication, anchored by the special edition GEL-KAYANO™ 14 x A.P.C. sneakers. Notably, the Tote Raquette, crafted from Japanese organic denim, adds a chic utilitarian edge with a discreet front pocket sized for a tennis racket—merging fashion and function seamlessly.

The ASICS x A.P.C. Tennis Collection represents more than just clothing—it’s a convergence of performance and personality, tradition and trend. Whether on-court or on the move, this collaboration invites wearers to express their style while embracing the rigour and rhythm of tennis life.

Available from April 2025, the collection can be found online at asics.com, apcstore.com, and in select ASICS and A.P.C. boutiques globally.
