YYves Saint Laurent Beauté launched Black Opium in 2014, and the fragrance which shot to popularity has seen a new eau de toilette addition to its lineup.
British supermodel Edie Campbell who fronted the fragrance's earlier campaigns, resumes her role as the face of Black Opium.
The re-imagined Black Opium Eau de Toilette is a new blend that contains tart blackcurrant and pear with notes of citrus and green mandarin peel. Top notes of jasmine-scented tea and orange blossom then give way to the olfactory signature of the fragrance: coffee.
The coffee grains in this varation mix with creamy white musk and a blend of white woods, turning the floral coffee of the original Black Opium into a green coffee for the eau de toilette.
The overall design of the bottle remains unchanged, with the exception of pink gold reflections, recalling the nuance of the fragrance's essence.
