Beige Gold is an alloy exclusive to the French luxury label originally only available to watches, as seen in the Première line.
This season the timepiece in 28 and 22mm specifications, come in a case paved with 56 brilliant-cut diamonds, and a white mother-of-pearl dial with gold plated hands.
The new pink gold was developed to obtain a unique 18K gold colour, which the Maison describes as being "more feminine than the traditional yellow gold and more subtle than the traditional rose gold."
We couldn't agree more.
Beige is a fundamental colour for CHANEL, with Gabrielle Chanel having once said "I go back to beige because it’s natural."
Coco loved all the nuances of a color that evokes both skin and elegance. She loved beige, the color of the sand on the beach, which she asked to reproduce for the color of the sofa in her apartment rue Cambon.
And so it came naturally that this colour would be now matched with another of CHANEL's signature motifs, the "matelassé" or quilted pattern seen in a myriad of the French luxury label's designs from as early as 1920, and now, in its COCO CRUSH fine jewellery collection.
The COCO CRUSH collection brings the "criss-cross" pattern to the forefront in a bold new interpretation, inspired from equestrian leatherwork and finely engraving it into gold. The pieces are sleek, adorning the finger or the wrist with voluptuous, feminine style.
The small and medium sized beige gold Coco Crush rings are now available in Singapore.
