With the debut of two Fifty Fathoms Automatique timepieces crafted expressly for women, the storied watchmaker introduces—for the first time ever—a refined 38 mm case to its legendary diver’s line. This is not a scaled-down nod to tradition, but a bold reinterpretation of adventure through a contemporary, elegant lens.

The collection’s inspiration reaches back to the vision of Jean-Jacques Fiechter, Blancpain’s former CEO and a pioneering diver himself, who noted with admiration how the female divers in his circle often stayed underwater longer. Today, Blancpain honors that legacy with watches that are as intrepid as they are graceful—designed for women who explore the depths with courage and style.

Marc A. Hayek, Blancpain’s President & CEO, puts it succinctly: “These watches meet the growing demand for sporty yet elegant timepieces tailored to slimmer wrists. They pay tribute to women who, through art and courage, reveal the wonders of the underwater world.”

The 38 mm chapter opens with two distinct expressions: one powerfully black, one playfully pink. The black model is a study in sensual contrasts—an intense dégradé dial set in polished 18 ct red gold, glowing against a smoky mother-of-pearl base.

The tropic rubber strap lends a sporty finish, making it the perfect companion from ocean plunge to evening affair.

The pink edition is effervescent and free-spirited. Its radiant mother-of-pearl dial shimmers within a brushed titanium case, offset by a softly glowing pink sapphire bezel.

A white rubber strap, streaked with electric and petal pink, ties the piece together with movement and charm.

Both are powered by the automatic calibre 1153, boasting a 100-hour power reserve and 300-meter water resistance—proof that function need not sacrifice finesse. This is Fifty Fathoms, her way.
