When it comes down to savoir-faire and craftsmanship, few companies can match the excellence and heritage of Hermès which since 185 years ago, has nurtured over six generations of artisans adept from hand-hewn equestrian accessories, homewares to its outstanding leather goods and handbags.
From 1 to 9 October, artisans from more than ten of the House’s métiers will bring their tools and materials, to demonstrate to visitors in Singapore how these objects are crafted. Their work reflects some of the preoccupations of the era: preserving and passing on know-how, the quest for quality, durability and innovation, and respect for the environment.
The French brand will offer a journey made up of demonstrations of craftsmanship, films, workshops, and events, with a pop-up location at the event plaza of Marina Bay Sands.
