IWC Schaffhausen marked the launch of its new Pilot's collection in Singapore with The Big Pilot Exhibition from 9 to 12 September 2021, held at Design Orchard.
First introduced to the luxury market in 2002 in an oversized 46 mm case, the Big Pilot’s Watch from IWC was distinctive with its functional design and instantly recognizable conical crown. Through the last nineteen years, it has grown to become a modern icon.
With the launch of several new Big Pilot’s Watch editions this year, IWC has brought different components of its storied history together in The Big Pilot Exhibition.
Visitors had the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the history of the Big Pilot watch and appreciate the watches in the flesh with the showcase of over 30 vintage and historical Big Pilot watches specially flown in from the IWC Museum in Schaffhausen. This is the first time such a large number of Big Pilots are taken out from the museum for an exhibition outside of Switzerland.
The latest Pilot's collection, including Big Pilot’s Watch 43 and Pilot’s Watch Chronograph 41, alongside selected limited-edition pieces will also be displayed at the exhibition.
