Justin Timberlake who kicked off his highly-anticipated 20/20 Experience Tour with a sold-out performance at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, is set to make stops on 69 dates across North America and Europe.
The opener for the tour sees the performer dressed in 8 different outfits custom-designed by Tom Ford, with the backup dancers, band members and vocalists also outfitted by the American designer, making a total of 600 pieces overall.
"Justin has great personal style and knows what he wants which makes designing for him an absolute pleasure," Ford explained.
He is a tremendous talent and has a kind of effortless cool that makes classic menswear tailoring modern.
The singer from Tennessee and the designer from Texas have been collaborating since 2011, and 2013 saw the return of Timberlake to the music scene with a breakout performance alongside rapper Jay Z at the 2013 Grammy Awards.
Tom Ford continued with the successful sartorial-meets-music combination, designing Timberlake’s wedding suit for his marriage to Jessica Biel, the "Suit and Tie" video, the 20/20 album artwork, and several of his performances to promote the album.
Timberlake's highly anticipated third studio album, "The 20/20 Experience" part 1, hit shelves earlier this year on 19 March. "Suit & Tie" was the album’s first single, and quickly became a Billboard record-breaking hit.
Six and a half months after the singer’s extremely successful comeback album, "The 20/20 Experience" Part 2 was released on 30 September.
Fans can expect to hear hits from both past and current albums on his 20/20 Experience Tour.
