The Pitti Immagine Uomo 90 showcase held from 14 to 17 June this year will see the inclusion of a new photography exhibition by Karl Lagerfeld.
Titled 'Karl Lagerfeld: Visions of Fashion,' the showcase explores the prolific fashion designer's lesser-known photographic career, as well as presenting some never-before-shown images.
Held at Palazzo Pitti in Florence and curated by Eric Pfrunder and Gerhard Steidl, it will take up several rooms, starting from the grand staircase, Scalone del Moro, and winding its way through the rooms of the Galleria Palatina, the Sala Bianca and the two rooms of the Appartamenti degli Arazzi.
Discover snapshots, campaign images and fashion shoots published in fashion magazines from all over the world, created using a variety of techniques.
'Visions of Fashion' is part of Pitti Immagine Uomo 90’s special program, produced as a result of a three-year plan supported by the Italian Ministry for Economic Development and Agenzia ICE. It is one of many high-profile extracurricular events scheduled during the menswear fashion event, alongside a special menswear show by former Dior designer Raf Simons, titled 'Florence Calling: Raf Simons.'
'Karl Lagerfeld: Visions of Fashion' opens to the public on June 15.
