Tiffany & Co. has announced that three-time Grand Slam winner Maria Sharapova will wear earrings by celebrated Tiffany designer Elsa Peretti at the 2010 French Open, May 23 through June 6, at the Roland Garros Stadium in Paris.
Ms. Sharapova will wear earrings from the Elsa Peretti® mesh collection inspired by mesh jewelry and purses that were in vogue from 1900 through the 1920s. Crafted of 18 karat gold in an ultra-fine pattern of inter-linked rings and accented with cultured freshwater pearls, the earrings capture both the elegant simplicity of Elsa Peretti’s jewelry and Ms. Sharapova’s natural style.
