A few days after opening its first boutique in Munich, Richard Mille now welcomes young German tennis player Alexander Zverev hailing from Hamburg, as its new brand ambassador.
Nicknamed 'Sascha', this 19-year old prodigy is considered by his peers to embody the next generation of international tennis stars.
Alexander, who is coached by his father, began playing at the age of five, and in 2013 at the age of 16 was crowned ITF’s World Junior Tennis Champion, a title previously held by some of the greatest names in the world of tennis.
Alexander Zverev will play his matches with the RM 27-01, the ideal timepiece for this right-handed player who is extremely powerful with his serve speed at 214 km/h when he played in Indian Wellsagainst Rafael Nadal -- another of Richard Mille's ambassadors who first sported the watch on his wrist at Roland Garros.
