Serpenti Through the Eyes of Ambush - A Capsule Collection

12 August 2020

By Tricia Oliveira

Tokyo-based Ambush Creative Director Yoon is the latest enlisted designer to work with Bvlgari, launching a capsule collection entitled "Serpenti Through the Eyes of Ambush."

"For this capsule collection, I wanted to express the bold and contemporary character of Serpenti. Snakes are wondrous and fascinating creatures of nature but with Bvlgari they also became asymbol of glamour in constant evolution. Natural beauty meets human creation, all guided by acontemporary aesthetic," Yoon explains.

Vibrant colours, unbelievably soft shapes referring to the snake's stunning natural beauty anda fresh, cool design are at the core of Yoon’s vision.

Inspired by the Tree Python of South EastAsia, a species famed for its striking, artificial-looking colours and fascinating movements, Yoondesigned three new styles: the Serpenti shoulder bag, the versatile Serpenti belt bag and theSerpenti Minaudière.

Each style of the Ambush x Bvlgari collection is adorned with a camouflaged snakeheadclosure. Dressed in matching Nappa Leather for a total mono-chromatic look and embellishedwith unforeseen eyes in mother-of-pearl for the black renditions and in black onyx for thecoloured ones, the time-honoured symbol of the collection is refreshed with a modern twist.

Pre-orders are available here from 11th August (deliveries from 3rd September) and will be available in store from 4 September 2020.
