Tiffany & Co. Christmas Tree Lights Up ION Orchard for the Holiday Season

19 November 2016

By Natalie White

Tiffany & Co's Christmas Tree at ION Orchard, in celebration of the American jeweller's holiday theme this year of "Make the World Sparkle," will light up the key intersection at Orchard Road with hues of iconic Tiffany Blue from 4 November 2016 to 2 January 2017.

This year's opulent tree features over 2000 custom-designed ornaments, including diamond-facet ornaments, the iconic Tiffany Blue Boxes® and a brilliant faceted tree topper.

CEO of ION Orchard, Mr. Chris Chong, and Managing Director of Tiffany & Co (Southeast Asia), Ms. Chris Lui officiated the lighting up ceremony on 17 November, by lifting the lid of the iconic Robin Egg blue box, triggering an eruption of confetti glitter - bringing to mind a burst of fanfare right off the streets of New York.

Visitors will be able to enter the gigantic Tiffany Blue Box® at the base of the tree to experience their very own Tiffany Holiday with an interactive photo booth.

Express your love for one another with a hug or a kiss and watch it light up the New York skyline with fireworks, inspired by the archival motif depicting a spray of diamonds, which framed the Tiffany Diamond for the 1939 New York World’s Fair.

This special moment will be captured as a video on a microsite at www.atiffanyholiday.com.sg where users can view and share on their own social media.

Be sure to check out in-person the majestic size and colorful decorations of the Christmas Tree on Orchard Road, and with it share in the joy and cherished traditions for the 179-year history of Tiffany & Co.
