Launched on occasion of LVMH Watch Week this week, the Zenith DEFY Skyline Skeleton transforms the language of contemporary horology, replacing traditional solid surfaces with a provocative display of open structures and high-contrast finishes.
This is a timepiece defined by a deep black ceramic case that serves as a bold frame for the radiant, gold-toned movement pulsating within. This latest iteration is a wearable structure where the sharp geometry of the exterior meets the transparent complexity of the mechanical heart.

The openworked architecture reveals the intricate technical details of the El Primero 3620 SK calibre in full transparency. This combination of materials serves as a tribute to the dramatic interplay of light and shadow.
The brushed and polished ceramic exterior evokes clean, monolithic lines, while the gold-colored movement provides a gleaming highlight from within.

A signature four-pointed star dial, inspired by a 1969 Zenith motif, rests above the gold-toned calibre. In place of a traditional display, the watch features the world’s only constant of a second running indicator.
Driven by a 5 Hz escapement, this indicator completes a full rotation every 10 seconds, creating a distinct and rapid visual rhythm.

Designed for versatility, the edition is fitted with an integrated black ceramic bracelet that maintains a seamless silhouette. Zenith includes a black patterned rubber strap that is easily interchangeable via an intuitive mechanism requiring no tools.
This balance of boldness and modern elegance is now available at Zenith boutiques and authorized retailers worldwide.
