In celebration of its 10th anniversary, Amber Lounge enlists F1 drivers to take to the catwalk to raise one million euros for the Nelson Mandela Children's Fund.

Amber Lounge was founded by Sonia Irvine, sister of Ferrari F1 star Eddie Irvine and launched at the Monaco Grand Prix in May 2003. It quickly achieved its goal of creating a truly VIP party that reflected the glamour and exclusivity of one of the most prestigious sporting events in the world.

Over the years Amber Lounge has carved a reputation as an unique venue where F1 drivers, celebrities, royalty and regular race fans can come together to enjoy a stylish, fun night out. Amber Lounge parties have been hosted throughout the world including Shanghai, Singapore, Valencia, Delhi and Barcelona.

Amber Lounge Fashion, a highlight catwalk of the Amber Lounge VIP experience, was established in 2006 under the High Patronage of H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco, and has seen the attendance of celebrities the likes of  Elizabeth Hurley, Bono, Naomi Campbell, Jennifer Lawrence to name a few.

The fashion shows have featured on its catwalk F1 drivers including Lewis Hamilton, Nico Rosberg, Adrian Sutil, Jaime Alguesuari and more, alongside supermodels and major fashion labels such as Matthew Williamson, Hervé Léger, Hugo Boss, Chopard and Jimmy Choo.

For 2013 edition of Amber Lounge Fashion in Monaco, the organizers have once again enlisted the contribution of F1 drivers and set a goal to raise one million euros in order to build a ward as part of a new children’s hospital in Johannesburg supported by the Nelson Mandela Children's Fund.

The marquee event is certainly not to be missed and will take place at the Le Meridien Beach Plaza Hotel on Friday, 24 May during race weekend in Monaco.
