As stated on the occasion of its inauguration, the Fondation Louis Vuitton intends to deploy its artistic activities not only in Paris but also abroad.
The first stage in this "beyond-the-walls" programme will take place in Beijing from 19 June to 16 August, in a specially allocated venue within the 'China World' complex.
From early sketches to the completion of work, the monographic exhibition focuses on Frank Gehry’s project for the Fondation Louis Vuitton in Paris. It offers a new vision of the creative universe of the architect and Laureate of the prestigious Pritzker Prize in 1989, who has described the Foundation as a 'magnificent vessel that symbolizes France’s profound cultural vocation'.
The show will then travel to Tokyo, where it will be held in the Espace Culturel Louis Vuitton from 15 October 2015.
More events in the Fondation Louis Vuitton’s "beyond-the-walls" art program will be unveiled shortly.
