The Singapore International Jewellery Show (SIJS) – will unveil a dazzling showcase of jewellery and gemstones, both precious and semi-precious, at Marina Bay Sands, Singapore in July this year.

Due to unprecedented popularity, the SIJS 2011 now spans five days and is the seventh glittering presentation. Scheduled for July 27 – 31, it celebrates a new theme, The Elements of Mother Earth, with exquisitely crafted designs inspired from Earth, Metal, Water, Fire and Wood. Rare and exclusive gemstones paired with the best and most meticulous craftsmanship will sparkle from the showcases.

The event also celebrates several milestones. This year marks the first collaboration with Citibank as the Official Bank and the debut presentation of a Wedding Pavilion entitled Wedding Parade, where the latest and trendiest designs from the world of high fashion will be paraded.

The SIJS 2011 also sees the recurrent support of Sri Lanka as the Strategic Country Partner! Widely known as the ruby capital of the world, Sri Lanka’s National Gem and Jewellery Authority is represented by a country pavilion housing many eye-catching and breath-taking gemstones.

Complementing the dazzle are daily jewellery-cum-fashion shows, informative seminars led by industry experts as well as breath-taking displays of one-of-akind designs and pieces by renowned brands from all over the world.

Since its debut in 2005, the SIJS series has fast tracked into a major industry event, attaining a premium ranking in Asia and is now an established and influential platform for networking and business transactions. It is no wonder this jewellery magnet has attracted major players intimately involved in the trade from India, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand, all of which have confirmed country pavilions in SIJS 2011.
