Vanessa Kirby, the new ambassador for Cartier in its perfume, watch and jewellery campaign, is inaugurating her role with a debut dedicated to La Panthère fragrance.
The British actress channels Cartier’s iconic animal, the panther, a similar free spirit who shares a desire for independence. For Kirby, who is also known for her philanthropic commitments, it is important to remain true to yourself and to move forward with confidence. "A panther never changes its spots," she says.
In his day, Louis Cartier even nicknamed Jeanne Toussaint "La Panthère". She brought this image to life in 1948, envisioning it in three dimensions for the first time. Since then, it has come to embody the creative spirit and temperament of the Maison.
The campaign film captures the irresistible olfactory power of La Panthère de Cartier’s sillage. Created in 2014, this fragrance brings the chypre family back into the spotlight with a new floral-feline accord: the union of a historic chypre, a mythical animal musk and a fresh, vibrant gardenia, just as desired by Mathilde Laurent, the Maison’s perfumer.
The La Panthère fragrances collection consist of a Eau de Toilette, a Eau de Parfum and a Parfum and they come in either 50ml (1.6 fl.oz) or 75ml (2.5 fl.oz) sizes.
