World's First Floating Fashion Week in Amsterdam
By SENATUS News | 29 May 2013

On 21 May in Amsterdam, the world's first fashion week on water was held on Netherland's famed canals, at the 17th century canal ring area in Amsterdam, which celebrates its 400th anniversary this year. The floating fashion week is dedicated to the newly-crowned king and queen of the Netherlands, whose coronations took place earlier on 30 April.

Models paraded in lingerie by French label Maison Close, and showcased designs by couturier Sheila de Vries and Anna Grigorian. De Vries has designed clothes for Netherlands' former queen Beatrix since 2003, and was named Dutch Designer of the Year in 2012.
