The 2014 Pirelli calendar, which will be revealed later this year, will mark the 50th anniversary of the Italian tyre manufacturer's ingenious marketing tool. And to celebrate, Pirelli has asked renowned fashion photographers Patrick Demarchelier and Peter Lindbergh to capture some of the most in-demand models of the moment to create an iconic set of birthday images.

Cue Victoria's Secret Angels Miranda Kerr, Alessandra Ambrosio and Isabeli Fontana along with Karolina Kurkova, Alek Wek and supermodel Helena Christensen not quite in nude - as the calendar often favours - but chicly underdressed.
