By Men's Journal Online | 24 May 2014

The CFDA awards are only days away and with anticipation rising the New York fashion scene awaits its biggest night. This years nominees are an appealing mix of the old guard and influential new talents who have made their presence felt in 2014. As always it’s meaningful work that makes each of the nominated labels and designers special and in the annual CFDA Journal these influencers are presented in the elegant manner they deserve.

Shot by Willy Vanderperre (Art Partner) with creative direction from Trey Laird, the Journal (which is given to guests of the show each year) offers a stately set of portraits of fashion’s biggest names. Take a first look at Vanderperre’s images of the nominated designers and tune in to discover the winners on June 2nd.
