The 9th annual Asian Film Awards, organised by the Hong Kong International Film Festival and aimed at promoting regional cinema, was held last evening and saw the attendance of celebrities from Hong Kong, China, India to South Korea. Held at the luxurious Venetian resort in Macau, the star-studded event which showcases cinema from across the region, saw 42 films competing in various categories.
